Terms of Service
Last updated June 4, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Constellation by dermatology practices and their authorized staff. By using the service, the practice and its users agree to these terms.
The service
Constellation provides longitudinal visual documentation for dermatology: photo capture, lesion measurement and comparison, an in-room reference layer, and an append-only clinical record. Constellation supports the dermatologist's examination; it does not provide a diagnosis and does not replace clinical judgment.
Appropriate use
The service is intended for use by licensed dermatology practices and their authorized staff during the course of patient care. Users must hold the appropriate authorization and must not attempt to access records outside their assigned practice scope.
Constellation's reference layer is informational. It may be consulted or ignored at the dermatologist's discretion; it never commits to the chart and never substitutes for sign-off.
Accounts and security
Each user is responsible for safeguarding their credentials and for activity under their account. Suspected unauthorized access must be reported to the practice and to Constellation promptly.
Data ownership
The practice owns the clinical record created with Constellation. We process that record as a service provider under a business associate agreement, and we return or dispose of it according to that agreement when the relationship ends.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be communicated to the practice before they take effect.
Disclaimers and limitations
The service is provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by law. Constellation is a documentation tool and is not a medical device that diagnoses disease. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in the agreement with the practice.
